Another weekend another coffee adventure here we come. This week, I can’t recall how we landed on Finom, but here we are in the car driving to Old Irving neighborhood to checkout a coffee shop that is in a historic building dating back to the 1890’s!
It was a bit of a trip getting here as Old Irving is completely under construction and the coffee shop is literally right next to the highway. Talk about congestion! But we made it safe and sound, the exterior of the building is a complete treat itself, you can tell immediately they are staying true to their historic roots.
Entering the cafe is like walking into your mothers living room, everything is dated but in a lovely cozy way. There are tables in the middle of the space, coffee bar along the left wall and then couches and chairs in the back for even more relaxing.
All the furniture looks and feels like an antique and it’s amazing! The barista is extremely friendly and open to all my questions about the drink and food menu. Everything on the menu is meant to look and feel like an old school European cafe. You come, you sip coffee, you nibble savory little bites and you spend time with those around you! Such a wonderful concept and cafe. I was hooked and if in a more convenient location I would gladly be a regular here. Coming to eat, drink and play the games in the back.
Today we did not come planning to eat so will need to make another trip to try some of the authentic Hungarian bites they make, but Danny and I both got a delicious coffee to go. Espresso strong and delicious. The barista even kindly brought the drinks out to us when they were complete even though we had said we were taking them to go. So thoughtful of him!
I think next time we are back I will have to try the Turkish latte, at the time I had not completely realized the European focus in the cafe, I was more caught up in the historic touches. But now knowing the European focus I can only imagine how delicious a latte that must be.

You might get confused about which you would prefer buying, but even though you find the latter type, you
can have the identical benefit for your cups of coffee in your house inside of 60 seconds.
Organic foods taste great in healthy recipes, and that is what you
deliver. The beauty of it really is that its not just an espresso maker – you can get so very
much more from it than simply an espresso – regular coffees and teas are just as
simple to make.
